What is the role of the Summit View Team Leader for a Summit View 50 site?
Past experience verifies that Summit sites are most successful when the Summit View Team Leader believes in and communicates the life-changing potential of on-going leadership development. They play a pivotal role as an advocate for the Summit, both in their own organization and in their community. The Summit View Team Leader is also the key contact through which all communication from the GLN will be sent.
-
What commitment is essential from your team to succeed as a Summit View 50 site?
In addition to the Summit View Team Leader, Summit View 50 sites will need a Technical Producer to facilitate the overall “in-the-room” experience. Depending on the size of your gathering you may want someone to oversee the operations/hospitality and someone else for networking and promotion of the Summit.
-
What support does the GLN provide?
A GLN staff leader will provide ongoing communication as needed. Your team will have access to marketing collateral and videos to help with Summit promotion.
-
When is the marketing season for the Summit?
Kick-off for promoting the Summit begins in late February. We strongly encourage Summit View 50 Sites to begin communicating with area churches and within their own congregations/organizations as early as March—before people lock down their summer plans.
-
Is there a cost to become a Summit View 50 site?
Your site guarantees paid attendance of 50 registrations or more. Should the final total paid registrations fall below 50, GLN will invoice you for the balance due.
-
Where do the majority of people come from to attend your site?
The advantage of hosting the Summit allows your church/organization to go deep within your constituents/staff because of price and convenience. While Summit View 50 sites tend to be smaller groups with many people attending from their organization, the majority of these sites also invite their community to join them.
-
Where can I find free leadership resources to develop my skills year-round outside of the annual Global Leadership Summit?
The Global Leadership Network offers multiple opportunities for leadership growth throughout the year, including leadership articles curated from experts in the field, hundreds of insightful videos, and one of the world’s most popular leadership podcasts including conversations with our world-class Summit faculty and expert guest contributors. Additionally, you can participate in both free and paid events throughout the year featuring interactive sessions with some of our incredible faculty.

-
Where do the majority of people come from to attend your site?
The advantage of hosting the Summit allows your church/organization to go deep within your constituents because of price and convenience. As a general rule the majority of people attending would come from your own organization. Typically, other Summit guests will come from within a 20-mile radius of your site—this would include area churches, para-church ministries, seminaries/schools, and businesses. We strongly encourage you to make sure your guests represent a broad spectrum of ethnic backgrounds, denominations, and socioeconomic status.
-
In what ways can other area churches/organizations help you promote your Summit site?
The GLN encourages you to take advantage of our “Summit Partner Program,” which encourages you to recruit up to five organizations and area churches of different denominations (to increase the diversity of networks and contacts) so that together you can reach as many people as possible with this convenient and affordable leadership development opportunity. Summit Partners will receive a registration discount for their members to share and participate in the vision of the Summit with you. The goal is to make the Summit a community-wide leadership development effort.
